  • Parkiet Studio is not only a network for selling floors, but also qualified parquet teams. Our parquet installers are professionals who have built their experience and knowledge in laying and finishing wooden floors over the years, becoming some of the best in their field. Parkiet Studio teams use only professional and high-quality equipment for their work.

  • The protective surface of wood can become scratched and dull over time. However, every parquet floor, even one that is many years old, can be refreshed to look like new.

FLOOR CARE

  • Proper care of wooden floors is the key to ensuring they serve in perfect functional and visual condition for many years. Only through regular and correct maintenance of the parquet can its lifespan be extended by up to 50%. The frequency of maintenance procedures should, of course, be adjusted to the intensity of floor usage in a given room. Maintenance can be divided into two processes: cleaning and conservation.

  • Cleaning involves removing dust and other impurities from the surface of the wooden floor, which not only negatively affect its appearance but also damage its surface. Cleaning is most commonly done with a damp mop soaked in a solution of cleaning agents designed for the specific type of floor.

  • Conservation, on the other hand, involves applying conservation products to the surface of the wooden floor. It is important to pay attention to selecting the right product for the type of floor, as well as to follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the application of the conservation product and ensure its even application (without streaks).

FLOOR SANDING

  • Time usually works against us. This also applies to lacquered wooden floors, whose durability and aesthetic qualities decrease significantly over the years. Fortunately, this process can be stopped, and even reversed. Parkiet Studio offers professional services in the field of sanding wooden floors, which are safe for the parquet, while restoring its lost shine.

  • During sanding, the top layer of the parquet, which has been damaged/worn out, is removed. At the beginning of the work, our qualified employee will thoroughly clean the floor surface from any elements and impurities that could disrupt the sanding process. The room must be emptied of furniture and equipment, and also cleaned from dust. Then the sanding machine will start its work, quickly removing the damaged lacquer coatings and the damaged parquet surface. The sanded floor is then polished, eliminating any scratches and scrapes that naturally occur during sanding. Any dust residues will be continuously removed with a high-performance vacuum cleaner - also from hard-to-reach areas. In the final stage, the floor will be re-lacquered or oiled so that its surface can once again please the eye.

FLOOR VARNISHING

  • Coating allows you to protect the floor not only from the effects of water and moisture, but also from dirt that arises due to intensive use. A wooden floor with a protective layer is easier to clean, less prone to damage, and gains a very attractive appearance.

  • We offer a wide range of coatings, so we can lacquer your floor according to your preferences (matte, semi-matte, glossy, satin). Of course, it is important to choose the type of lacquer that suits the type of wooden floor and the intensity of its use. For low-traffic areas, fast-drying water-based lacquers are the best choice, while two-component polyurethane lacquers are more suitable for areas with moderate use. For highly used floors, we recommend using a single-component polyurethane lacquer, which offers the highest wear resistance.

OILING FLOORS

  • Oiling wooden floors is a surface protection process that is often seen as an alternative to varnishing. The oil penetrates the wood, so no additional layer is created on the surface, as is the case with varnish. An oiled floor feels more natural to the touch, wood scratches are less visible on it or may heal over time (as they get filled with oil), and more significant damage to individual planks can be locally repaired without the need to sand the entire floor again.
  • Prior to oiling, it is important to properly prepare the wooden flooring. A newly laid floor should be thoroughly sanded and filled, and if necessary, polished. The same process applies to an older floor, but it is also essential to check the condition of the planks and make any necessary local repairs in areas that clearly require it. A special oil-wax is applied to the prepared floor, and the type should be chosen based on the wood species (for oily species, we recommend thin oils that penetrate deeper into the planks), as well as the room's purpose and the desired visual effect.

FLOOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS

  • To maintain and care for floors, only professional care products recommended by the manufacturers or installers of wooden floors should be used. Maintenance should be repeated throughout the entire period depending on the floor's usage and wear intensity. This way, we will be able to enjoy the beautiful appearance of the floor and significantly extend its lifespan. We offer professional floor care products at attractive prices.
  • Choose cleaning and care products considering the specific floor manufacturer:
